How innovative, smart energy solutions can be leveraged to solve the growing challenges around grid balancing

The presentation will focus on how innovative, smart energy solutions can be leveraged to solve the growing challenges around grid balancing - both when it comes to congestion on a local / regional level, as well as national / European-level balancing of the frequency within the electricity network. Stefan will highlight a number of real-world cases which demonstrate how advanced smart-grids, microgrids, and integrated electrical / thermal networks can be developed to overcome some of the biggest obstacles to the sustainable energy transition.
