About Willi Appler
After completing his MBA at the Berlin School of Economics & Law Willi Appler gained
experience at the Federal Foreign Office, Fraunhofer Institute and a strategic communication
consultancy. He then deepened his energy expertise at 50Hertz working in strategic market
development and energy politics roles for over 8 years. He is now responsible for Business
Development and Regulatory Affairs at gridX and is on a mission to use digital solutions to
make the energy transition easier for all stakeholders.
